How about the other side of the wall? Maybe you will even get lucky and end up in a closet! Only if you're in a closet, you must make it a J-box w/blank cover, outlets, switches are not allowed in closets. As long as you can get to the box, a proper splice will be code compliant. If the wire is a feed, perhaps include an outlet in the box. Add a "deep Handy box" (single outlet box) at outlet height and splice the wire coming from the floor to a new wire going up if you can replace that wire.Okay, so obviously you want to sleep at night so here are a few code compliant ideas. Is that code compliant? Will an inspector fail the job if he saw it? Absolutely! The inspector does not know what is behind the tape and is not going to take your word for it. Then I have layed the insulation back and given it a few wraps with the Scotch 33 (600V insulation per wrap!, not the cheap stuff) and felt confident it was safe. And I was also sure that it was used as a neutral (and not a switched lead). If it is a neutral with just the insulation rubbed away (not a compromise to the conductor!). I have taped a few staple mishaps along the way. I like this idea, but if it's not NEC compliant then I think SteveR will get the answer. shirlock homes recommends wrapping the damaged neutral wire with insulating tape then taping up the jacket. SteveR brought an excellent option to my attention, and that is to expose the junction box on the other side of the wall since, in my case, it happens to be a closet. Update: Right now, it's between shirlock homes and SteveR for the answer. I am hoping someone isn't going to tell me that NEC requires me to repair the damaged section by replacing it with a new wire and installing a junction box or something. Is it okay to repair this tear with electrical tape? The copper wire itself was not damaged. The hole is but a mere dot measuring at about 1/32" in diameter. The damage is located halfway between the electrical box and the 5/8" hole in the frame's bottom plate where the wire disappears to beneath the floor somewhere. While trying to pry loose a stubborn cable staple that fastens a 14-gauge electrical cable to a stud, I accidentally tore a very small hole through both the outer jacket and the insulation around the neutral wire, exposing the bare conductor inside. 11/19/2023 0 Comments 223 subsonic with 5744I will post any relevant results tomorrow evening. Hornady 55Gr SPSX (soft point super explosive) 82Gr Berger bullets (I doubt they will stabilize),.I am setting a paper target up at 25 yards to check for keyholes. I will be shooting 1/2 of the rounds through the suppressor and 1/2 without. Each lot is 10 rounds for a total of 100 rounds. I got my Dillon 550B plate in and loaded 10 lots of different loads for testing tomorrow. I marked the cartridges with a colored permanent marker and labeled each row in the box with the powder charge in that color ink. I also went back and checked my test notes and, unless I marked the cartridges incorrectly when I packed them before going to test them, the data I wrote in my notes after each string still fits the load data in my first post. I can run clean loads through the AR all day long and not have problems. By clean I mean 250 to 350 rounds I have to at least squirt a little break free in the chamber and run a patch down the bore. It works ok but even with factory loads it has to be kept pretty clean to function well. I also noticed the chamber seems to be tighter than normal. There may be a little bit of blow by since the groves are leaving a little space between the bullet and the bottom of the groove although the bullet may expand into that space under high velocities. 223 barrel that was reamed out for the 5.7 x 28 cartridge. I went with posting the 5744 data because the chance of a double charge is lower since it would overflow the case and it is a slower burning powder.įound some unexpected results when I got the data you requested. I also tested some WSF and some Trail boss because I was going off Hodgdons 223 subsonic loads. 6 grains were also subsonic 4 of 10 times but I am going to continue testing with between 5.5 & 5.7 grains till I get the lowest possible SD. These rounds were movie quiet with an A.A.C.223 suppressor. Here in Phoenix the sound barrier is at 1125fps - 1150fps so if it were 1400fps I would have definitely heard the pop. Are you positive of your velocity measurements? Hmmm, I can't see that much difference between the two bullets velocity wise. But that was using a PRVI Partisan bullet. My 5 year old test data is showing me that with 5.4 grains of 5744 I had an average velocity of 1005 fps from my pistol extrapolating that data through my computer shows a theorhetical velocity of 1,400 fps from a 16" BBL. Medula Oblongata wrote:The reason people don't post too many is because of the chance of squibs primarily, and not low volume detonations. Grouping: Did not test grouping but there were no keyholes at 30 meters. I would also like to try a flat bottom soft point round in place of the FMJ I used.ĪR57 16" barrel standard spring and buffer I think I can improve on this with a magnum primer to see if I can get more even burning of the powder and, hopefully slightly faster velocities. 4.5 Gr leaves a barrel plug.ĥ.5 is the most consistent load with an average 1008Fps and a high of 1022 and a low of 988. I tested 5 different weights from 6.5Gr down to 4.5 Gr in a AR57 with 16" barrel. They will tell you that it was made for that very purpose. Before anyone starts anything about low charges and detonation or flash over you should call Accurate and ask them if 5744 is position sensitive or dangerous for reduced loads. 11/19/2023 0 Comments 1995 ferrari modelsThere are some minor nicks and scratches to report justifiable from a 26k mile car. The black soft top is in excellent condition with no blemishes to report with the tan boot in good shape as well. Upon your approach of the car you are greeted by the classic Rossa Corsa exterior that still obtains its original paint however, the front bumper does look to have been repainted likely due to stone chips. The car has always been located in the Pennsylvania area, responsibly enjoyed on the road, and meticulously maintained throughout its life. This car has been garage kept since new having encountered no misfortunes during road use with a clean CARFAX report to validate. This example has had an uneventful history with only 2-owners with the second and current owner having the car in his possession since 1999. On offer, out of long term ownership, is a 1995 Ferrari 348 Spider chassis number ZFFRG43A6S009362, engine number 36808, finished in Rossa Corsa over tan with black soft top. Finally, you could put the top down in your Ferrari again which brings us to the vehicle on offer. This was the first convertible platform Ferrari offered since the production of the Daytona. In addition to the hardtop and targa models, Ferrari introduced the 348 Spider. There were also some minor cosmetic alterations made as well as the introduction of a new variant of the car. The suspension was updated, ridding it of those pesky gremlins. In 1993, Ferrari revamped the 348, installing a Bosch Motronic 2.7 engine management system which significantly increased performance, boosting power from 300bhp to 312bhp. Ferrari worked fast to correct the problems but there was still a sour taste left in consumers’ mouths. These issues translated to the growth of a negative stigma towards the cars, resulting in the 348 being one of the more disliked Ferrari’s of the era. The early cars tended to give the driver a lightened front end feeling at high speeds, the gear box was stiff, and users just could not seem to hit the advertised 175mph top speed. The wheel base was longer, the track was widened, it had larger brakes, and now had a 3.4L V8 power plant producing 300bhp which was mounted to a transposed 5-speed gearbox. The steel tube chassis was replaced by a more rigid monocoque structure and steel tubular rear sub-frame. The 348 was engineered with an entirely new platform than the 308 or 328. A large part of this is linked to when the 348 was first introduced in 1989 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. No, they will not be worth $400k plus anytime in the near future but it does encompass elements that often go unrecognized. Now let’s take into consideration the 348. For example, the Dino was undervalued for quite some time but just within the last several years, they have caught the enthusiast’s eye, now doing significant figures on the auction block. On the other hand, going through the lineage of Ferrari there are a few cars that are overlooked and not given the credit they deserve. The 250 GTO, the Daytona, the Testarossa, the F40, the Enzo, all iconic Ferraris that have solidified their place in the history of the brand. When the name Ferrari is mentioned, there are a few key cars that automatically come to mind. 11/19/2023 0 Comments Rose falcon 2003 zipMinnesota 1.0, Minnesota 2.0, Minnesota 1.2, Minnesota 2.2, Wolftrax Alloy, Cable 24 frame.Ģ015 Zerga D5.7,Riddle LH1.7, Urbio K3.8, Urbio LK2.8Ģ015 Nandi MTB 26 Zoll, Vanida Disc 27,5, Zarena MTB 26 Zoll, Zarena Street Disc, Cross Mover, Cross RS, Street Flyer, Cross Street Disc, Street Mover, Nova Team 20, Wildtail, Nova Team 24 Disc, Green Mover E45 Outlaw, Green Mover E45, Cross Lite E, Monster S, Monster, Sharptail 1 Street Disc, Devilzone 1, Dail-E GrinderĢ015Level R2, Level B4, Hexagon R8, Lea R6, Hexagon R5, Lea F2, Hexagon R4, Trans Arctica, Trans AfricaĢ015 Explorer 2.0, X-fighter 2.0, X-fighter 3.0,Summit 4.0, Summit 3.0,Renegade Performance, Summit 6.0Ģ015Legarda, Life Race, Life Action, Life Cross, Life Road, Life Sprint, Life Track, Life One, Ugtra, Baggy Sue, Penny Lane, E-Street, E-Race, E-Style, Macina Action, Macina Force, Macina Cross, Macina Moto, Macina Race, Macina Mini Me, Macina Dual, Macina Sport, Macina Tour, Macina Fun, Life Space, Life Duag, Life Gite, Life Fun, CountryĢ015 Traveller 7 Light, Traveller 9 Light, Traveller 12 Light, Traveller 11 Ergo, Traveller 9 Ergo, Traveller 7 Ergo, Explorer HDE, Explorer HD, Boston, Boston E Race, Traveller Speed SL.
